Goldmine

Goldmine is Walsall's exciting new multi-million pound youth facility which is on Lower Hall Lane, adjacent to the site of the former Shannons Mill Part of the New St Matthews Youth Quarter. Home to Walsall Studio School, The 'state of the art' centre has been inspired by young people for young people. Alongside social and recreational activities, it offers social enterprise work-based learning, ICT opportunities, arts, drama, music and creative media activities.

Vine Access Centre

Home to our Second Chances school, The Vine Access Centre is a purpose built youth facility open twice a week for young people to drop in. With a whole host of recreational facilities available including a pool table, table tennis and games consoles there are plenty of activities to keep young people amused. There is also a lounge area designed for those who just want to chill and chat with friends all in a safe and welcoming environment.

Bank House - Construction Centre

The facility offers the opportunity for students to engage in:
  • Bricklaying
  • Electrical skills
  • Carpentry
  • Plumbing
  • Plastering
  • Property Maintenance

Retail Centre - IKEA

The Vine Trust Works in partnership with IKEA in providing young people with an ideal work experience opportunity within an international
company. The Vine Trust and IKEA work together promoting a project known as 390, so named as IKEA uses the internal code ?390? to refer to written off stock that is recoverable. This, in many ways, identifies with our students who have been written off by society, but they too are recoverable. The current project provides a minimum of 12 weeks work experience for students, providing a platform on which to build.

Grenfell Horticulture Centre

Our land based facilities offer student exposure to land based industries ranging from grounds maintenance to farming.

Vines Restaurant

Is a new state of the art restaurant, re-launched in 2010. Having undergone a major transformation, Vines represents a trendy, relaxed atmosphere, accommodating both the public and our students harmoniously.
Vines? also provides an ideal training facility for those interested in working in catering, as well as serving the community by providing catering services.
